Accessibility Statement

Last updated: September 25, 2026

SmilePlax wants everyone, including people with disabilities, to be able to shop on smileplax.com easily. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA.

What we have done

  • We made the store usable with a keyboard, with a visible focus outline — including the color and quantity selectors, the photo gallery, the before/after comparison and the cart.
  • Product and content images have text descriptions for screen readers, and decorative icons are hidden from them.
  • Buttons and form fields have clear labels (for example, "Add to Cart: Ocean Navy").
  • Text colors were checked to meet WCAG contrast ratios.
  • Moving banners can be paused with a button, and animations are reduced if your device is set to "reduce motion".
  • Our pages declare their language so screen readers read them correctly.

We checked the site with automated accessibility tools and manual keyboard testing in September 2026, and we will keep checking it when we make changes.

Known limitations

  • The checkout pages are provided by Shopify, our e-commerce platform. Shopify works to make its checkout accessible, but we do not control its code.
  • Some content from other companies (such as PayPal payment buttons) is controlled by those companies.
